Château Lascombes is a well-regarded and critically well-received wine estate in the Margaux appellation of the Haut-Médoc, just north of Bordeaux city. The estate produces a classic Bordeaux Blend wine known for its deep colour, rich texture, ripe fruit and elegant tannic structure. It was ranked a second growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification.

LA CÔTE LASCOMBES 2022 is a brand new 100% Merlot single-varietal wine, with vines planted in rare blue clay soils on limestone, a rarity on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. Its terroir is reminiscent of the finest Metos appellation in Metosna. The winery's director, Axel Heinz, who previously created the iconic Merlot wine Masseto at Ornellaia, has now taken over as owner of Château Lascombes and launched this single-varietal Merlot wine.
