浪琴慕沙城堡 Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2016 750ml
BESCHREIBUNG
5/2/2017 Martin WINE ADVOCATE (NEAL MARTIN) : 92-94 / 100 The 2016 Lynch Moussas is a blend of 17% Merlot an 83% Cabernet Sauvignon cropped at 48 hectoliters per hectare between 3 and 19 October. Matured in 60% new oak and the remainder one year old, this has a concentrated bouquet that offers tobacco-infused black fruit, briary and then with aeration, veins of pencil lead. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin cloaked in plenty of black fruit, quite spicy for Lynch Moussas with a touch of orange rind developing towards the finish. I appreciate the salinity on the aftertaste here. This is excellent and may well surpass the impressive 2015 last year. 4/27/2017 The Wine Cellar Insider THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER (JEFF LEVE) : 91-93 / 100 Cassis, tobacco, cedar and blackberry sensations offer freshness, sweet fruits and soft tannins. The wine is medium bodied and with a few years of age it will be ready to drink. This wine was produced from a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot and is 13.5% alcohol. 4/26/2017 Vinous VINOUS (ANTONIO GALLONI) : 87-89 / 100 The 2016 Lynch-Moussas is a solid, easygoing wine. Sweet tobacco, herb, mint, licorice, dried cherry and incense give the 2016 its lifted, expressive aromatics. There is lovely brightness and energy here, although some slightly angular contours remain. It will be interesting to see if time helps them soften a bit. 4/25/2017 Jukes MATTHEWJUKES.COM (MATTHEW JUKES) : 14,5 / 20 (83 Cabernet Sauvignon, 17 Merlot) | 50% new oak |13.7% alc. | 48 hl/ha. Rather damp and mouldy, sadly, and just a bit too green to be worth another look. Always a shame. 14.5+? 4/21/2017 Robinson JANCIS ROBINSON (JANCIS ROBINSON) : 17 / 20 Sweet ink on the nose. Tasted just after Lynch-Bages, it's obviously less dense and a little frailer but it is a good Lynch-Moussas and takes advantage of what the vintage has to offer. Long. 17- 4/19/2017 Wine Enthusiast WINE ENTHUSIAST (ROGER VOSS) : 92-94 / 100 Barrel Sample. This is one of those estates showing a new era of quality. The wine has power while keeping everything in balance. Acidity and black currant fruit are just as important as the structure. Drink after 2026. 4/10/2017 Wine Spectator WINE SPECTATOR (JAMES MOLESWORTH) : 88-91 / 100 This is alluring, with a coating of warm vanilla bean over a core of gently steeped plum and blackberry fruit. Shows a light woodsy streak through the finish. Not as vivacious as the top wines, but solid.—J.M. 4/5/2017 Jamessuckling.com JAMESSUCKLING.COM (JAMES SUCKLING) : 93-94 / 100 This is very dense and intense with lovely intensity and energy. Dense, round and savory tannins. Another winner from here. 4/3/2017 Decanter.com DECANTER.COM (JANE ANSON) : 92 / 100 Deeply coloured with a slightly smoky edge to the oak, this is a very good Lynch-Moussas full of Pauillac character of dark fruits and graphite. 60% new oak complements the blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot, cropped to a yield of 48hl/ha. One of the best I remember at this property. Drinking Window 2023 - 2042
